For Wataneya (Sanad Now)’s efforts and services in social development

Al-Rakhawi Foundation honored the efforts of Wataneya (Sanad Now) to promote the mental health of children and youth without parental care and their caregivers. It took place during the international conference of the Egyptian association for group psychotherapy and group work.

On International Women’s Day, FIrst Lady.Intisar Al-Sisi, honored Mrs.Azza Abdel Hamid for her pioneering journey in developmental work during the celebration of "Egyptian Woman, the Icon of Success' ', among a distinguished elite of inspiring women.

Wataneya (Sanad Now) won an in-kind award during the NGOs Award of Excellence by Professional Development Foundation (PDF). Wataneya (Sanad Now) was selected among 1012 organizations in the field of civil work, and among 14 organizations that reached the finals.

Wataneya (Sanad Now) won first place in ” Education of Quality “ as part of the award launched by Misr ElKheir Foundation for Pioneering Charitable and Development in its round first in 2019.

Wataneya (Sanad Now) Society was chosen out of 156 NGOs from across the region to receive the Prince Mohammed bin Fahad Award in 2017 for best charitable performance in the Arab world, ranking in first place in its category.

Mrs. Azza Abd El Hamidthe founder and CEO of Wataneya (Sanad Now) Society for the development of orphanages and founder of Nida Society for the rehabilitation of children with sensory communication disorders was awarded the TAKREEM award for Humanitarian and Civic Services in 2016.

Wataneya (Sanad Now) Society received the NGO Partnership Award in 2015 from the American University in Cairo in recognition of its years of active engagement with students and faculty on community-based learning projects and initiatives. Wataneya (Sanad Now)’s collaborative efforts with the university were also recognized in 2016.

Wataneya (Sanad Now) Society received the Samuel Habib Award for Excellence in Volunteer Work in 2016 from the CEOSS foundation, which recognized its unbiased and all-embracing efforts to serve the community.

Wataneya (Sanad Now) was one of six NGOs nominated for the Dubai International Award for Best Practices to Improve the Living Environment in 2014, out of 400 other organizations from 95 countries. Wataneya (Sanad Now) was nominated after working successfully with state institutions to create a set of standards for Egyptian orphanages to abide by.

In 2014, Wataneya (Sanad Now) received MBC Al Amal’s Award in the humanitarian relief category.
