Wataneya (Sanad Now) was one of six NGOs nominated for the Dubai International Award for Best Practices to Improve the Living Environment in 2014, out of 400 other organizations from 95 countries. Wataneya (Sanad Now) was nominated after working successfully with state institutions to create a set of standards for Egyptian orphanages to abide by.
