HR professionals towards a supportive work environment for care leavers
July 2025
Sanad recently hosted a rich and thoughtful gathering of HR leaders and experts
to explore one important question:
How can workplaces become more inclusive for youth without parental car?
We were joined by professionals from a wide range of sectors — including hospitality, food & beverage, manufacturing, logistics, education, retail, tech, pharmaceuticals, and more.
It wasn’t just a workshop — it was a heartfelt, honest space where we listened to powerful stories from young people starting their career journeys, and from employers working to create more compassionate, inclusive workplaces.
Together, we asked:
What does true inclusion in the workplace really mean?
What kind of support do young people need to thrive and stay?
How can a rights-based, trauma-informed approach transform workplace culture?
And how can HR be a real bridge to social inclusion?
Thank you to everyone who showed up with curiosity, empathy, and a true willingness to be part of change.
This is just the beginning — and the impact grows stronger as we keep moving forward, together
