Sanad Forum

Wataneya Society launched Sanad Forum in 2015 to include a number of care homes founders and managers with the objective of exchanging experiences and finding mutual solutions. Currently, Sanad adopts topics related to alternative care in Egypt. Moreover, the forum has become a uniting force in bringing views closer together and stimulating collective action between care homes to develop the children without parental care system, as well as networking with civil society to serve the care homes’ mission.

Sanad Conference

In April of 2019, in partnership with the Ministry of Social Solidarity and under the auspices of the League of Arab States, Wataneya organized the “Sanad” Conference for Alternative Care. This conference aims to improve the aftercare systems and services in the Arab world through exchanging experiences and highlighting the best repeatable practices. This goal helps in strengthening the Former Minister of social Solidarity, Ghada Wali - Founder and integration of care home leavers in their societies, which Chairperson of Wataneya’s Board of starts the process of preparing the child for independence Directors, Azza Abdel Hamid and self-reliance from a young age.
