Kafala Families Trainings
Sanad offers comprehensive training programs for kafala families to help them overcome the unique challenges they face, including:
• Understanding the legal and religious aspects of foster care correctly.
• Building a healthy and motivating relationship with the child.
• Safe methods of disclosing the child's or youth's identity.
• Effectively integrating the child into the family and the larger extended family.
• How to deal with societal situations and challenges.
Training programs include:
• Childcare from pregnancy to 12 years old.
• Managing child behavior in positive ways.
• Providing appropriate care for adolescents.
• Program to build a positive identity for the child.
• Enhancing the psychological resilience of youth and young adults.

• Procedural Guide: Sanad is the only entity working on developing the "Procedural Guide for Kafala Families" since 2018, in collaboration with the FACE Foundation for Children.
