To empower youth in care homes, aged 14 to 18, for a smooth transition into an independent life, the Sanad offers comprehensive training programs specifically designed to meet their needs. These trainings aim to build the essential skills that youth need to live independently in a supportive community.

What makes these trainings unique:
• They rely on the Child and Youth Development toolkit developed specially by Sanad and approved by the Ministry of Social Solidarity.
• They are delivered through the "Youth Empowerment for Independence and Self-Reliance" project, in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Solidarity and several leading institutions.
• They are based on the CASEL model, the most well-known academic coalition for enhancing emotional and social skills.

• They have been carefully improved and adapted to suit the needs of youth without parental care.
• They include a component of hands-on experience to ensure the practical application of acquired skills.

Some of the training programs we offer include:

  1. Life Skills Program for Youth
    Focuses on three key areas:
    Decision-making and goal setting skills
    Self-awareness and emotional management
    Social awareness and relationship management

  2. Independent Living Program for Youth
Provides youth with knowledge and practical experience in financial, legal, physical and
mental health awareness, and safety and security.

  3. Protection and Sexual Education Program for Youth
Aims to enhance youth knowledge of the fundamentals of sexual and reproductive health and raise their awareness of protection concepts.

These programs are a true investment in the future of the youth, providing them with the necessary tools for success and self-reliance.
