Kafala Families

Sanad grants the "Sanad Certificate" to kafala families and specialists from the Ministry of Social Solidarity in local committees, based on their implementation of the procedural guide for the alternative family system in Egypt.

This guide was developed in collaboration with the FACE International Foundation for Children in 2018, based on field studies and research on the Kafala system, as well as an analysis of best international and local practices. The guide aims to provide a clear framework for integrating children deprived of parental care into suitable alternative families.
