Asset Map
Sanad seeks to support young care leavers in achieving a stable and independent life through aligning its efforts with those of the government, service providers from both the public and private sectors, and civil society.
Accordingly, the "Asset Map for Care Leavers in Egypt" project was established, in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Solidarity, as part of the "Youth Preparation for Independence" program, supported by Drosos Foundation. The project aims to identify available resources and services for care leavers in Cairo and Giza governorates, enabling them to successfully transition to independent living.
This important project is structured over several phases, including:
* Assessing the needs of care leavers
* Engaging with various service providers
* Verifying and refining information
* Holding three interactive workshops that brought together public and private service providers across different sectors with care leavers, to discuss the project's findings and outcomes
* Involving a number of care leavers in various project activities, such as facilitating workshops, reviewing, and refining data
