In collaboration with the AUC The American University in Cairo , a child protection workshop was conducted for students of Department of Psychology under the supervision of Dr. Hala Abdel-Hak, Consultant on Inclusive Education & Disability – Department of Psychology.
The workshop aimed to equip them to conduct awareness workshops in 5 care homes focusing on media literacy, distinguishing between real and fake news, understanding news circulated on social media, and learning how to differentiate between opinions and confirmed factual information.
