New Partnership for Enhancing Orphaned Children’s Care in Egypt
May 2025
As part of its ongoing commitment to raising awareness and strengthening efforts to protect and care for orphaned children and youth, Sanad has announced the start of a new partnership with a group of prominent development associations. The aim is to achieve shared goals of expanding temporary foster care and building a sustainable community network that supports orphaned children.
The new partnership includes Ruyat Hayat for Development, Big Heart Association, Little Roses Association for Development, and Basmtna .The partnership focuses on enhancing fieldwork efforts and increasing outreach to target groups. We are working to transfer knowledge through the implementation of the “Children’s Stabilization and Community Integration Training Package,” a diverse and effective training program that aims to develop the necessary skills within care homes and other institutions, with the goal of reaching as many children as possible and empowering them to lead stable lives with secure futures.
The partnership reflects hope and mutual cooperation to achieve the following:
- The inclusion of new associations to work in the field of alternative care.
- Expanding reach to children and youth in need.
- Raising community awareness about the importance of alternative care and children’s rights.
- Enabling associations to implement high-quality training within care homes to improve the quality of care provided.
Sanad believes that this partnership will contribute to improving children’s lives and meeting their needs through effective collaboration focused on sustainable development and raising societal awareness of the importance of protecting and caring for them.
Sanad also affirms its ongoing commitment to working hand in hand with its partners to ensure a better future for our children. Such partnerships open new horizons toward a safer future and greater support for children and youth.
