Celebrating 5 success stories in "Strengthening the Aftercare System for Care Leavers

In line with its ongoing mission to support and empower young care leavers, Sanad for Alternative Parental Care organized the Sanad Alternative Care Forum under the theme: "Strengthening the Aftercare System", bringing together 27 care homes from across Egypt.

During the forum, five care homes—Fustat Care Home, Resala Maadi, Fajr Al-Islam, Bayt Amina, and Al-Mabara—were recognized for their outstanding efforts in implementing aftercare programs and supporting youth on their path to independence. This recognition reflects real change on the ground and showcases effective partnerships between Sanad and care providers working to ensure a safer and more stable future for care leavers.

Through comprehensive training for caregivers, life skills and vocational programs for youth, and supporting care homes with protection policies and infrastructure upgrades, Sanad is proud to be contributing to a practical and scalable aftercare model across Egypt.
