Bassam earned his Ph.D. in Social Service Philosophy with a specialization in Social Planning in 2021. He conducted a descriptive study on the topic of "Government-Civil Society Organizations Partnership to Achieve Social Protection for Homeless Children." He also holds a master's degree in Social Management and Planning obtained in 2017, where he conducted an evaluative study on the effectiveness of social care services provided to children with cancer. Bassam graduated from the Faculty of Social Service at Helwan University in 2014. He has a variety of practical and professional experiences, working in the field of development, including care, human and social relations, education, and managing development projects (such as the Technical Education Development Project in Egypt). He has also worked in training and capacity building in areas like entrepreneurship, project management, work environment enhancement, and soft skills. Bassam has contributed to training and developing work teams in various institutions such as hospitals, schools, and NGOs. He has prepared and developed scientific content, research, and studies in program and national project management, decision-making, working women, social planning and Egypt's Vision 2030, primary care categories, national plan evaluation, sustainable development, sexual education guide, and social protection for children outside family care. He has experience in measuring the efficiency and effectiveness of services provided to children outside family care and children with cancer, as well as evaluating developmental programs and projects. Bassam organizes and implements educational camps for children and youth, designs and presents training content, and has delivered over 1000 training hours in 250+ training sessions and workshops for school and university students, as well as alternative care facilities.
